Borneo Street Dance Competition 2012
This story is really historical for T-Street. Who knows that after 1 year, MoTour contacted us again regarding to their BSDC (Borneo Street Dance Competition) 2012 edition. We were shocked when MoTour offered us to compose BSDC's original theme song! The history started - 9th of August 2012. Oh mannn! That was a big WOW! A small indie Hiphop act like us suddenly been selected to do such big project!
But it was not that easy though. It's not such an easy task to be done when MoTour told us that BSDC 2012 will be kicking off on 8th of September 2012. We only have a month to compose the song. Upbeat. Catchy. Simple. Normally, we produced some of our previous songs was without time frame or dateline. In short, we did it out of stress. But BSDC theme song was different. We must make it before the event kicks off. Plus, we need to submit the demo first to be reviewed by the BSDC committee.
And thanks to the Almighty God, we did it in three (3) days! Lyrics with music as well. After the review session done by the committee, we improvise some parts of the song and set the recording session. With a very limited time, we made an appointment with Donovon Linus Nicholas (owner of Apple Studio, Asia City). The recording took two and a half hours to be done. Without wasting more time, we sent the raw tracks to be mixed by our favourite soundman, our bestfriend, our brother in RapSouL Brotherhood - Mr.Herman Iawini a.k.a MERN. God bless you man! He spent his time and energy to make it sound at it's best as it could reach. At the same time, we're preparing for our first EP and BSDC's music video too. What a tough job with a limited time frame and with a small production team.
Guess what... We made it! We would like to thank... a million thanks to MoTour especially to Ms.Nely (MoTour's Director, Sabah) and the whole committee for having faith on us to be involved in their super event. We would love to share more about the story. We will be uploading photos soon!

We're Still Fighting!
Hello!
We don't think that blogging is relevant at this time. Nobody does the blogwalkin'. So for now, we're posting some simple update. We're still alive and we're still fighting for our music!

Borneo Street Dance Competition 2011
21st November of 2011 was T-Street's first ever live appearance this year. Million thanks to Bro Langau for recommending us to Ministry of Tourism. We really appreciate it. Not forgetting to Ms.Nelly (Director of MoTour), thank you so much for believing in us! You guys are the coolest we ever met! We hoping that we can have opportunity like this in the future.
To tell the truth, we found out that there's so hard to find a place or platform for the Sabahan independent musician to show their ability. The events also very limited. We need more activities with the youngsters and the youths as well other. We definitely agree that some clubs are giving slot for the local indie acts, but it still not enough. We need some open space, healthier and family friendly places to perform.

Listen To Our Song @ Online Radio Stations
Recently, there are many online radio stations around Sabah. We'd met their DJ's through online (Facebook, Yahoo!, Blogs) and also we had an opportunity to send our tracks to the DJ's from SabahanFM and O-Borneo. Thanks to them for playing our songs regularly.
By the way, we are now got two songs that had been played in the online radio stations. After this, we're planning to put the songs in our Street Boombox (which is now still in empty playlist... Ha ha ha!). Just wait...

T-Street - Kau Saja Milikku
No updates doesn't mean there's no activities. Just a little bit slowed down. Well you know, our music industry is not at its best condition. Everybody prefer the FREE Stuffs rather than buying. Do you know what is going on? It's all about MONEY.
How about T-Street? How can we move without money? We still have to pay our monthly bills (electricity, water, phone, rent, etc..etc..). So we have to go to work everyday to earn money. That's why we're slowed down... What to do...
BUT, we're going to release our next single soon! The recording session was done 5 months ago. After the mixing & mastering process, it will be aired at Suria.FM hopefully. Just wait...
